Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: December 9th, 2023

1) Vikings Fans Want This Man to Start at QB: Thankfully, fans don’t always get what they want. Can you imagine a football team that was ruled by the Twitter masses? There’s a technical term for that in football circles: yikes. Now, that’s not to say that Jaren Hall would have necessarily been a poor choice. Rather, it’s simply acknowledging that NFL coaches tend to know better than social media.

2) One Report Hints Vikings’ QB Decision has Been Made: The report ended up being accurate. Josh Dobbs is the main man heading into Week 14. Kevin O’Connell, though, did leave the possibility open to insert Nick Mullens if there’s a need.

3) The Vikings’ QB Shuffling has Already Begun, but More Appears on the Horizon: Minnesota signalled that their QB room was moving in a new direction with the release of Sean Mannion. Doing so merely suggested that the team was finally back to full health at QB (minus Kirk Cousins, of course). The team thus moves ahead with a three-headed monster consisting of Dobbs, Mullens, and Hall.

4) Raiders Promote Former Vikings Draft Picks Ahead of Reunion: Good to see for the young pass rusher. Janarius Robinson didn’t work out in Minnesota, mainly due to injury and the regime change. In a perfect world, the young defender can stay healthy and put together a long, successful career in the NFL.

5) Vikings Could Look and Feel a Lot Different this Weekend: Begin with Justin Jefferson. His presence alone will make a huge difference. Now go ahead and add Akayleb Evans back into the mix. Each player is going to help the Vikings in their pursuit of an unlikely playoff push.
