Warriors vs Manly Sea Eagles results, kick off time, Parramatta Eels vs Sydney Roosters updates, Round 25 news, Doubles to Joseph Suaalii and James Tedesco build Roosters’ lead, Bryce Cartwright scores ‘incredible go go gadget’ try

The Roosters’ have all but ended the Eels’ final hopes after securing a 34-12 win at CommBank Stadium.

Speaking post-match, Dylan Brown was disappointed with the outcome.

“We stung ourselves in the foot,” he told Nine’s Danika Mason.

“We went out there and we tried our best. We knew we had to, our season was on the line. It’s a bit silly for us to make it come down to this but it is what it and we just have to go out next week and finish off the season well.”

Brown described the team’s fall from last year’s grand final to outside the top eight as “embarrassing”.

“It’s a rude shock, you’re used to winning [and] making the top eight, and this year we have just fallen out of it,” he said.

Scheduled to meet the Panthers next week before a bye in the final round of the regular season, Brown said the team would still carry a winning mentality.

“We’re just playing for pride now,” he said.

“We’ve got fans out there that we’ve still got to represent and we’re [still] wearing our club logo, so we still have to represent [the club] and go out and try our best.”
