WNBA Pre-season Game Comes to Canadian Soil for First time



For the first time, the WNBA is coming north of the border. The WNBA Canada Game, presented by Tangerine bank, will feature a pre-season match-up between the Chicago Sky and the Minnesota Lynx on Saturday, May 13th, at the Scotiabank Arena. The Ontario natives Natalie Achonwa and Bridget Carelton will play in their first WNBA homecoming for the Minnesota Lynx. The Chicago Sky are coming off a disappointing loss in the WNBA playoffs and will start their quest for a title run in May. The 2022 WNBA Commissioner Cup runner-up was led by All-star Candance Parker, Kahlead Cooper and Emma Meesseeman.
